Abstract

Fungal infections can significantly alter the normal microflora of the body. Long-term use of ineffective medications in the treatment of vaginal candidiasis leads to drug resistance of infectious agents, and their systemic absorption leads to metabolic disorders. The transition of the disease to chronic forms in some cases causes infertility or the need for termination of pregnancy. The article discusses the modern most effective and safest drugs based on the recommendations of attending physicians and patient reviews.
